Check out (at the bottom of the article in the tag line) who pays the guy who wrote the following op-ed piece declaring the irrelevance of the food safety, human health and animal kindness food movements. I believe everyone has a right to their opinion. I just wish people like this would be honest about their funding sources and their motives when publishing articles in newspapers (and shouldn’t newspapers disclose writers’ conflicts of interest more clearly, just like medical journals have begun doing?). Mashing up facts to suit agendas doesn’t help move the public discussion forward in a positive, democratic way.
